Emma Leeden (Mo'Nique), a published author, writes a book titled "Invasion", a detailed narrative of the events that transpired a year prior when she lost her family to a gruesome violent home invasion. As a publicity stunt, in an effort to generate press for her book, Emma agrees to a medium reading by college student Sky Brown (Chasity Sereal). This reading will take place in Emma's now super secure home. There's only one problem, Sky's spiritual connection is real.
